About H&H

Hearts & Hands exists to support Christian artists by providing opportunities to create, grow, and make connections — both with each other and with their audience.

What began as a part-time ministry in 2017 with the goal of planning a creative arts workshop, has since grown to include multiple workshops, songwriting weekends, a podcast, and more. In the spring of 2023, Hearts & Hands made the leap to become a full-time ministry and obtain 501c3 non-profit status.

— OUR CORE VALUES —

PERMISSION

This organization does not take control of what creatives make, how it is distributed, or how it is consumed — we simply try to enhance those activities as they take place.

Opportunity

This organization works to create more opportunities for art to be created and for it to be enjoyed/used/consumed.

Quality

This organization seeks to promote high-quality art and assist makers in reaching a high standard in their work.

Community

Creativity is an act of community, so this organization works to create spaces for connecting over art.

Maximize

Inasmuch as this organization has assets — be they created works, creators, finances, etc. — it seeks to make the most of them for the glory of God.

— THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS —

  • Drew has served as the President of Hearts & Hands since its official inception in the spring of 2023. In addition to his work for Hearts & Hands, he enjoys writing and arranging songs to express his creativity. His greatest talent is surrounding himself with people who are more talented than himself, like the many talented artists he works to support through Hearts & Hands (and the fine Board members listed below). Drew lives in Neenah, WI with his wife and daughter.

  • Caleb is a pastor, songwriter, and musician from Doral, Florida. Caleb enjoys taking the deep, life-changing truths of God's Word and communicating them in clear, simple ways. Whether in sermons, devotions, Bible lessons, or songs, he loves showing people God's gospel heart. Caleb serves as a pastor at Divine Savior in Doral, Florida, where he lives with his wife and two kids.

  • Corissa is a full time independent graphic designer and digital artist for churches. She’s really into visual communication of ideas and equipping organizations to go out into their communities and get after their mission. One of Corissa’s favorite projects has been our very own logo, as well as our Pishon Collaborative logo. She has served as our Communications Director since our official inception. For fun, she plays a little mandolin with a string band. She loves being a part of our unique and inspiring community of creatives.

  • Faith serves as Hearts & Hands' Vice President. She has personally experienced the blessings of being part of this creative Christian community since attending her first Hearts & Hands Workshop in 2019. Faith is an artist who hails from the mountains of Northeast, TN. Her favorite mediums include drawing, ceramic sculpture, and shadow puppetry. She is inspired by good stories and loves wondering at the beautiful and true.

  • Tim serves as the Secretary on the Board of Directors for Hearts & Hands. He is the full-time Worship Director at St. Mark Ministries in Green Bay and De Pere, WI. He oversees the planning and execution of weekend services across two campuses and online. He has been an unofficial part of Hearts & Hands since its early days as a cohost on the Hearts & Hands podcast and as a contributing songwriter. Tim lives in De Pere, WI.

  • Greg serves as Treasurer for Hearts and Hands. He is the "black sheep" of the Hearts and Hands Board of Directors, being the only individual of the group without a consistent mode of creative expression. He has a passion for supporting those who do express themselves creatively through various modes, though, which is what has led him to this appointment. He considers it a blessing to use his interest and knowledge in the area of finance to support the important work of Hearts and Hands. Greg serves as Head Men's Basketball Coach and Academic Success Center Director at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. He is privileged to work alongside his wife, Emma, who is MLC's Head Volleyball Coach, Fitness Center Manager, and Assistant Track Coach.
